More about this document

What it is

This certificate provides third parties with evidence of the tax status recorded by AT. It states debts where the status is not regularised. Regularised status does not always mean no debt: authorised instalments or certain suspended proceedings with a guarantee may qualify.

Points to check and differences

It covers AT, not Social Security debts or bank credit. Obtaining it does not settle an existing debt.

Frequently asked questions

Does regularised mean zero debt?

Not always. Read the certificate; certain authorised payment or guarantee arrangements may coexist with regularised status.

Can I use an old certificate?

Check the validity printed on it and the recipient’s requirements. Request a new one when needed.
