No. PedirDocumentos.pt is a private service operated by Além do Código, Lda. It does not represent the Portuguese State and is not affiliated with the Autoridade Tributária, Segurança Social, Banco de Portugal, IRN or Autenticação.gov.

For people who need their own documents or a form to complete. It also serves businesses and professionals collecting client documents with permission.

The client receives a collection link, confirms the requested documents and enters the necessary details. By continuing, they authorise the identified company to collect those documents on their behalf.

You can collect documents from Finanças, Segurança Social, Banco de Portugal and Registo Predial Online, including proof of address, the IRS tax assessment, the property tax record (caderneta predial), e-Fatura invoicing summaries, simplified land registry information (Informação Predial Simplificada), tax certificates, the credit liabilities report and Segurança Social declarations.

Yes. The documents are generated by the official portals. When the result is a payment reference, as with Informação Predial Simplificada, the platform collects the payment details and IRN sends the access code after payment.

In most cases it takes a few minutes. The time may vary depending on the number of documents requested and the availability of the official portals.

They are not kept after the collection. They may exist temporarily in encrypted form only while the request is being processed and are deleted when it ends.

No. The credentials are used technically to carry out the collection and should not be shared with the company that made the request.

We use encrypted communications, encryption of temporary sensitive data, isolated sessions, access controls, separation by organisation and automatic credential deletion.

As a rule, the company requesting the documents is responsible for having permission or a legal basis for the request. PedirDocumentos.pt provides the collection technology and acts as a technical data processor in these workflows.

Yes. The platform was designed with principles of data minimisation, security, confidentiality and support for individuals exercising their rights, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Individuals can make a request without creating an account. Businesses and professionals use an account to manage clients and requests. Anyone receiving a business’s collection link can use it to provide the requested documents.

No. To request your documents or forms, all you need is a browser.

You receive a blank PDF with guidance. The form must be completed and signed by the person or organisation specified on it.

Yes. She can explain what each field means and answer your questions. Completing, signing and submitting it remains your responsibility or that of the person specified on the form.
