Terms and Conditions for Individuals

These Terms apply to the direct service for private customers for collecting official documents and preparing and delivering official PDF forms.

You may only use this service for your own documents or for another person’s documents when you have sufficient legal authority to act on their behalf. Entering third-party credentials or codes without express authorisation is prohibited.

Select documents or forms, provide contact details and accept the order conditions. Collection from portals requires your authorisation and, where needed, credentials and verification codes. An order containing only forms requires neither access to those portals nor your credentials: PDFs are supplied after payment.

Documents collected from portals are delivered without changing their contents. Issuing, original contents, validity periods and administrative decisions are the responsibility of the competent authorities. This distinction does not exclude our liability for collection or delivery failures, or rights that cannot legally be waived.

Credentials, SMS codes or email codes are used only to authenticate with the official portals and carry out the collection you requested. They are protected during the process and deleted when the collection is completed, fails or is cancelled.

We may limit further attempts after repeated failures to reduce the risk of your credentials being blocked on the official portals.

The estimated price is shown before collection begins. In mainland Portugal, the base price is €6.15 including 23% VAT for requests of up to 5 documents; each additional document successfully obtained costs €1.23 including VAT.

• You only pay for documents that are successfully obtained.
• If no documents are obtained, no payment is due.
• Before paying, you see the final amount, the applicable VAT and the billing details.
• Payment is processed through Stripe or another provider clearly identified at checkout. PedirDocumentos.pt does not receive or store your full card number.

Once payment is confirmed, the documents obtained are made available and sent, where applicable. The invoice is issued using the billing details you provide at checkout.

When collection is ready, you have 24 hours to complete payment. After that period, the documents obtained are deleted and can no longer be purchased through that request.

After payment is confirmed, access to the documents ends exactly 48 hours later. Physical deletion is completed by the next automated cleanup run, normally within no more than one hour.

Expiry of public access does not prevent the retention of records that are strictly necessary for billing, security, fraud prevention, the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or compliance with legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy for Individuals.

For distance contracts, you generally have 14 days to exercise the right of withdrawal by sending an unequivocal statement to geral@pedirdocumentos.pt.

So that you do not have to wait 14 days, the authorisation form asks you to expressly request that collection starts immediately.

If the service is fully completed following that express request, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to the service already provided. Until completion, the rights that apply by law remain available.

For PDF forms, we separately request consent to start digital supply after payment before the end of 14 days, and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is lost once supply starts and the legal requirements are met, including confirmation on a durable medium. In a mixed order, this acknowledgement covers only the forms supplied; it does not remove rights for lack of conformity or automatically extend to the collection service.

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you.

If a paid document is corrupt, incorrect or unavailable, contact us. We will attempt a new delivery or collection at no cost. If the document cannot be restored, we will refund the amount charged for it, without affecting your other legal rights.

For the direct service to individuals, Além do Código, Lda. is the controller of the data required to manage the request, carry out the collection, process payment, provide support and protect the service. See the Privacy Policy for Individuals for information about the data processed, purposes, retention periods, recipients and your rights.

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical, security or service changes. The version you accepted remains linked to your request; later changes do not retroactively alter the terms applicable to a request that has already begun.

We may record and analyse conversations with Júlia to improve her answers and the help provided to users, identifying common questions and correcting inaccurate or incomplete information. Records remain available for review for 30 days from the start of the conversation, with personal data filtering, as explained in the applicable Privacy Policy. We do not use these records to train models automatically.

Forms are blank copies of originals made available by official authorities. The price pays for organisation, preparation and delivery; it is not an authority fee. You can obtain the original directly from the official source, generally free of charge. Filling in, signing, submission, procedure fees and the authority’s decision are not included.

We aim to keep the catalogue up to date. The source and review date identify the origin and recorded consultation; they do not certify validity, continuous currency or suitability for your case. Authorities may replace forms and change requirements. Before using a form, check the applicable requirements with the authority. We do not guarantee acceptance or approval of your application.

Guides and translations help understanding and do not replace the authority’s original or individual legal advice. The original PDF is delivered without changing its contents.

If a file is incorrect, outdated, corrupted or different from its description, contact geral@pedirdocumentos.pt so that we can assess correction, replacement or another remedy required by law. These conditions do not remove mandatory consumer rights, including conformity and refunds where applicable.
