Financial support for people with disabilities

A person with a disability prepares an application for monthly support for independent living.

PSI 1 — Application for Prestação Social para a Inclusão, a monthly benefit supporting the independence and inclusion of people with disabilities. The form allows you to request the base component and/or the supplement, identifying the beneficiary, the disability, the applicant and the payment recipient. The supplement can only be requested from age 18. You receive the blank original to complete and sign, attaching proof of disability and the PSI 1/1 income and household composition declaration where required by the instructions. Segurança Social assesses the application and supporting documents.
